Privacy and email policy

Effective November 5, 2026

Who we are

Taskew Sites builds websites for small businesses. It is a service of Taskew, 7820B Wormans Mill Rd, Ste 215, Frederick, MD 21701. Questions about this policy go to support@taskew.com.

What we collect

• When you ask for your demo site: your name, business name, email, phone, current website, and the times you said are best to talk.
• About businesses we may contact: business details that are already public, such as state business registration records, public business listings, a business's own website, and public DNS records for its domain.

We collect business contact details, not personal consumer data. We do not buy, rent, or trade email lists.

How we use it

• To build your demo site and get in touch about it.
• To send a small number of business emails offering a website to businesses that do not have one or whose site could serve them better.
• To keep a record of who asked not to be contacted, so we never contact them again.

How our business email works

• We send from taskewsites.net and taskewsites.org, which both point back to this site.
• Every email says who we are, includes our mailing address, and has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Unsubscribing takes effect right away and is permanent. It covers every address and domain we send from.
• We stop emailing an address after a bounce, a spam complaint, or a reply asking us to stop.
• We send at most a few short emails to a business, and we stop as soon as you reply.
• We only email addresses we have checked are valid, and we keep our sending volume low.
• We have no newsletter you can be added to without asking. Any future newsletter is opt-in only, and separate from everything above.

To stop all email from us, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to support@taskew.com.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that run Taskew Sites for us, such as our cloud hosting and email delivery providers and an email address checking service, and only so they can do that work.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no third-party tracking scripts.

Keeping and deleting your information

Ask us at support@taskew.com to see or delete what we hold about you. We delete it within 30 days. We keep only your email address on our do-not-contact list, so we never contact you again.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
